About

During the pandemic in 2020, I began making pizza with my family using our home oven. It was something we could enjoy doing together. I was making pizza everyday, looking up how-to videos and experimenting with different styles and techniques.

Eventually I wanted to upgrade from our home oven, so I bought a wood burning pizza oven for the backyard.

We started hosting pizza parties with family and friends on the weekends. Everyone was asking how they can try my pizza, which has always been by invite only to our home.

Now I’m bringing my pizza to your own backyard with private pizza parties.

Meet Backyard Pizza Dad

My name is Dan Piasecki, and I’m Backyard Pizza Dad.

A passion for making homemade pizza evolved into Backyard Pizza Dad, where I share that anyone can make amazing pizza in their own backyard. Since then, I’ve been featured on the news, the local paper and even made pizza live on TV.
